I like to listen to music and podcasts while I am working and exercising, while still being able to hear my surroundings; this Shokz headset works great for me. They are so comfortable sometimes I have to touch my head to make sure they are still there. I sometimes I do wear them around my neck when not in use. I added a piece a yarn to pass over my head to make the headset super stable under vigorous exercise.

The sound is clear under normal conditions and I can use the headset with earplugs when it is loud around me. Callers tell me the microphone quality is great also. It is nice to be able to keep my hands free and move around, while the phone stays protected in my pocket. The Bluetooth range is great, I can change floors in the house while the phone charges, and the connection staying clear. If I leave my phone in the car, the headset will remind me by beeping when the connection is lost.

The battery lasts throughout my day of use. The headset volume and multifunction button are great. I can turn the headset on and off with my forearm when my hands are full. The one small change I would make is the removal of the last call redial function. I don’t ever need it and a few times while running I accidentally triggered it when running by pushing the multifunction button twice when I meant to only push it once. My understanding is that on at least one other Shokz model, this is fixable with the phone app.

I find myself doing more chores when I can stay entertained with audiobooks and music.

I've tried cheaper knockoff versions and was disappointed. I had a set of these but lost them and went to cheap route ... ended up sending the cheapies back and bought these again. They work so much better.

All of these types of phones have a band that sticks out behind your head a little bit, they don't really sit tight against your head, so they don't work very well if you're laying down on your back or if you have the back of your head resting against a chair because it might push the phones forward a little bit. But otherwise they're great.

I tried wearing them inside my motorcycle helmet and they didn't work there either because the helmet pushed them too far forward. They work okay underneath the bicycle helmet.

I really like how I can listen to music or a podcast and I can still hear things going on around me when I'm out walking or even if I'm in the house listening to music I can steal her others in the room talking and it don't miss out on the conversation

It sometimes takes folks up to a week to get comfortable wearing them for an extended period of time especially the listening because it is doing the vibration through the bones in front of your ear, but you get used to it pretty quickly. So don't give up on them right away.

It's not hurting you at all it's just a little discomfort until you get used to the vibrations happening there. You can reduce this effect by not listening terribly loud, cuz the louder you listen the harder it has to vibrate to make the volume come through

I work in a place where I need to be able to hear my surroundings but I hate taking headphones off or pausing. These have great sound and I love the color! I was worried about the color changing or turning red because my hair is red but I have worn these every day for 6 months and they are still so white. I am so impressed by that because red will stain literally anything but hasn’t stained this yet! I really like how they sit as well they are durable and comfortable. I wish I could give it 6 stars!
